Some quick review, alright...First noticed, a new guitarist. No Gizz Butt.
The gig as a whole could have been amazing. I was really enjoying it, really into it. But i felt like it ended half way.Know what i mean? Only three old songs :? . I’m thankful i wasn’t in the skin of those poor older fans waiting for Carl in Poland for so many years. They must have been really pissed off...
The nephs played well , obviously a bit metally throughout almost every song but that’s something we got used to didn’t we...They rocked and created an atmosphere. They looked cool. Carl performance absolutely smashing . His voice is mindblowing. Everything seems to be fine ok. But it wasn’t enough. Apparently the attitude of "fcuk that’ll do” continues. Our audience deserved much much more last night, mr McCoy. We were hungry, just shouting for more and more Nephilim but we didn’t get it...

And yeah, apparently new album is already made. Waiting to be unleashed. What year is it?

It does sound like a short set indeed, still pissed that I couldn't get over there tho, a gig is a gig!

Standing next to the stage I could watch the face of Carl singing... Especially during Requiem XIII, his facial expression indicated he was giving away everything he had for the audience. And the same goes about all the show. Maybe it's exhausting to go on giving away lots of energy for a long time... :)

The show was marvelous (and yes, I would have liked it to go on and on and on...:)).

Thanks a lot!

haha, i think i clearly said i've got nothing to their performance, Carl's in particular. Notice they're playing the same songs. The Warsaw gig was simply cut off the classics... Those three past gigs give me an impression of something like "well yeah i've got these fellas i taught them couple of tracks and we play them... yeah...fine...''

Lot of people after the gig were like "fcuk that was short.... but it's good that they came after all"... I think that Nephilim now days is more like Carl solo project and the rest of the people on stage are not much important. They just do their job well and that's enough. It's all about Carl now and he seems he's trying to make people forget the oldies:)

A nice gig but I think it's much to the "good that they came after all" effect. On the Helldone they played Psychonaut as a tribute to AO Spare, in Warsaw they played on the 71st anniversary of HP Lovecraft's death and what we didn't get much any classics beside Dawnrazor, metalish Moonchild and awesome chills-down-spine Last Exit For The Lost. At least nice addition to the previous shows was very well played Zoon pt.3.

And being spoiled by 3 hour long show by The Cure last month it was much too short, "but hey, they came" ;)
